About Me

Professional Family History, Family Tree, Genealogy, House and Ancestry Research Service by Professional Genealogist UK and local history research in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, London and Middlesex.

I am a Professional Genealogist and Family Historian and have nearly 20 years’ experience in working in Archives for family history research. I started my own family history research back in 1994 and since that time have researched my own family back many generations. I then decided to embark on a Career in Genealogy and Family History and undertook work for Clients.

I am committed to continuing my professional development and as such undertake many Professional Courses in specific areas of research to update my knowledge. I have also undertaken the ‘Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies’ Correspondence Course in Genealogy for which I studied for three years, and this Course covered all aspects of family history from GRO Certificates and Census records through to Manorial Records and Heraldry. I have also gained the Higher Certificate in Genealogy and I am at present furthering my studies towards the accredited Diploma in Genealogy. Both of these Courses are also with the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies.

I am an Associate Member of AGRA ‘The Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives’ and have agreed to be bound by their Code of Practice. For acceptance into this Association you have to work to a high standard quality of work. I am also a Member of APG ‘ The Association of Professional Genealogists’ and have committed to abide by their Code of Ethics.

I offer a friendly and efficient service and I am focussed on achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. I work with the Client to ascertain what research they would like undertaken and after the research is completed I compile a report and include all original documentation found. I also include a Family Tree where this is possible.
I am registered with the ICO as a Data Controller under the Data Protection Act 1998.
